Repost: @stuart_knechtle On February 13, 2025, 70 Christians in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) were brutally killed & beheaded at a church after being gathered by militants. Their unwavering faith, even in the face of such horrific violence, stands as a powerful testimony of boldness and courage. May we be inspired by their example and stand firm in our faith, no matter the cost.

Join us in prayer for our brothers and sisters in the DRC:

(1)Pray for God’s comfort and peace for those mourning the loss of loved ones and those who have lost their homes and possessions.

(2)Pray for unwavering faith and strength for Christians living under the constant threat of violence.

(3)Pray for peace in eastern DRC, asking for God’s intervention to bring an end to the attacks and restore stability.

(4)Pray for the members of the ADF, that they would turn to God in repentance and find salvation. If they resist, pray that God would thwart their plans.

Anxiety may feel overwhelming, but Scripture reminds us of a greater truth: God is bigger than our fears.

🌿 1 John 4:18 — Perfect love casts out fear.
🌿 Philippians 4:6 — Don’t be anxious; bring everything to God in prayer.
🌿 Joshua 1:9 — Be strong and courageous; God is with you wherever you go.
🌿 John 14:27 — Jesus gives us His peace, not as the world gives.
🌿 2 Timothy 1:7 — God gave us a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.
🌿 Psalm 55:22 — Cast your cares on the Lord, and He will sustain you.
🌿 Proverbs 3:5-6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and He will direct your path.
🌿 Hebrews 13:6 — The Lord is our helper; we will not fear.
🌿 1 Peter 5:6-7 — Humble yourselves and cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you.

Anxiety doesn’t stand a chance when you fix your eyes on Him. Trust His promises, lean on His Word, and remember: His peace is greater than any fear.

As Christian creatives, it’s time to reflect: is what we’re creating truly pointing others to Christ? Over the years, worship and church culture have leaned toward flashy events, cool branding, and big names to draw people in. But are we forming others—and ourselves—into Christ-like people?

True worship declares another King. It confronts the world, not mirrors it. People don’t need performances or perfect aesthetics—they need to encounter the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Let’s pause and ask ourselves: is our creativity leading others closer to Jesus—or just the opposite?

Many times we are told in today’s culture that we need to search for our purpose. But the truth is, our only purpose is to glorify God. Anything else distracts from His kingdom.

When we try to define a purpose outside of God, we risk living for something temporary instead of eternal. Stop wasting time chasing an earthly purpose—align yourself with His kingdom and His objective. That’s where true fulfillment lies.

2️⃣ Admit what you don’t know. God has infinite wisdom, so don’t pretend you have all the answers. Seek Him. Dig into His Word. Ask questions. The more you learn, the closer you’ll feel to Him.

3️⃣ Inundate yourself with Him. Fill your mind with His truth—through music, podcasts, videos, conversations, and community. Surround yourself with reminders of His goodness and love.

As Christian creatives, we have the privilege to reflect Gods creative power all around us. But no matter what we create, it will always point back to Him—the true Creator of all things.
